Solidly repaired Porsche Macan engines

In the meantime we have developed an engine repair concept to also repair the Porsche Macan 6 cylinder engine solidly and durably.
In the course of the repair, the cylinders are milled out and replaced with solid graphite special cylinders, just like with our Wasserboxer engines.
After the repair, the pistons and piston rings run on a cylinder running surface with emergency running properties. The graphite content in the cylinder is above 2% of the material volume. Due to this graphite content, the converted engines can run for a few seconds without splashing oil without being damaged.
We have now installed these graphite cylinders in a different form in over 1,000 engines without having to record a single damage.
We will report extensively on this during engine repairs.
