The display only works with the sensor 99660614000
which is installed as standard in the 996/997/991gen1 Cup.
With this you can not measure resistance values at min
and max. The sensor requires active electronics to measure
the level. The sensor has a resistance of 22 ohms at rest.
If the sensor is now immersed in oil, it still shows 22 ohms.
If they can measure different values with their sensor, it is
a different sensor and must then be exchanged for the
99660614000.

We have factory engine oil level sensor
in the car and we would like to connect
it to the electronic sensor we have ordered
from you.
Just a question regarding this.
Can you tell us maybe what are the ohm
values in case of full oil level and in case
of empty oil level?
Before the sensor arrive from you we would
like to check the oil levels "manually" and
we have to know the ohm values for this.
