Porsche 993 Upgrade to 993 Turbo - Some questions

I would like to upgrade the whole engine form my 1997 - 993 Porsche 3.6 liter.

Would you recommend a turbo upgrade or to sell and by the original turbo Porsche?

If you are looking for the best performance-to-cost ratio and already own a well-maintained

993 Carrera, a turbo conversion can be a very exciting project. However, a proper 993 Turbo

conversion requires much more than simply adding turbochargers. The engine internals,

fuel system, engine management, cooling, exhaust system, transmission, brakes, and

suspension should all be considered to achieve reliable performance.

On the other hand, if you are aiming for factory-engineered performance, collectability, and

long-term value retention, purchasing an original Porsche 993 Turbo is usually the better

investment. The factory Turbo offers exceptional engineering, reliability, and market value

that is difficult to replicate with a converted vehicle.

To provide a more accurate recommendation, please let us know:

• Current model (993 Carrera 2, Carrera 4, etc.)
• Vehicle mileage
• Intended use (road, track, or both)
• Desired power output
• Approximate budget
